The Kettle Pond Farm CSA is an exciting part of our Not-For-Profit. It allows members to learn about local agriculture through supporting a working farm. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a popular consumer and producer movement in which farm products are marketed directly to you, the consumer. CSA is a partnership between farmers and the community, where members subscribe to a share of the season's produce. Each week the shareholders pick up their share of the harvest.

CSA's benefit the shareholder, the farmer, the land and the community. A CSA provides families with safe and freshly harvested produce, while at the same time guaranteeing a market for the small farmer. The seasonal risks of growing are shared by the farmer and the consumer.

Season Duration Contribution
Spring (May-June) 6 Weeks $150

Ripe Tomatoes at Kettle Pond FarmShareholders will receive a weekly supply of freshly picked, organically grown vegetables, and herbs. Space is limited, so shares will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

This year we intend to distribute vegetables approximately 6 weeks in the spring, 20 weeks in the summer, and for a time period in the fall as well. We expect to begin spring distributions in early May, summer distributions in mid-June, and fall distributions in late October. The exact dates will be decided as the season approaches and we are given Mother Nature’s approval. For the 2012 season we are offering full, partial and work-shares.
